Tampa’s race skyward hit another milestone this week: ONE Tampa reached its full 42-story height.

ONE Tampa, the luxury condominium tower overlooking Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and the Hillsborough River, towers over the city’s downtown at more than 519 feet. Developer Kolter Urban says nearly 70% of its 225 residences had already sold by the time construction crews paused Friday to celebrate two years of work on the landmark building, at 100 E. Madison St. That’s roughly 150 homes priced from about $1.27 million to more than $5.4 million, says Steve Barber, development executive for Kolter Urban.
